OUR COMPANY
About AndreTaxCo

AndreTaxCo specializes in serving emerging start-ups, mid-to-large corporations, and CPA firms throughout the United States with specialized accounting, tax, and business advisory support. AndreTaxCo helps business owners understand how effective tax law and accounting strategies will improve profits and reduce risk.

AndreTaxCo prides itself as a leader and advocate for increased value and cash savings to its clients through both federal and state tax credits and incentives, as well as representing businesses during both federal and state tax examinations, mediation, and appeals.

Many emerging businesses across multiple industries fail to investigate and claim numerous types of federal and state tax incentives, often resulting from confusing government regulations, or lack of specialized tax consultation. However, AndreTaxCo will help ensure your business maximizes its profits and growth through tax incentives, potentially available through prior year tax refunds, and prospective tax years moving forward. AndreTaxCo is constantly monitoring the changing tax landscape to keep its clients in compliance with federal and state laws and to help ensure you are always prepared in case of a potential tax audit.

Kirk Andre is the founder of AndreTaxCo, PLLC headquartered in Seattle, Washington.

Prior to forming AndreTaxCo, Kirk spent nearly the past decade consulting in various capacities within assurance services, tax law & accounting, tax credits & incentives, and tax controversy resolution within public accounting. Kirk's previous ventures within public accounting includes both "big-four" (PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP) and mid-market (Moss Adams LLP, BDO USA LLP) firms. This provided him unique perspective to contrasting strategic firm approaches, culture, and diverse client structures. More importantly, Kirk's experiences highlighted unfulfilled market opportunities and common public accounting firm limitations, in light of recent U.S. tax reform, from a tax service perspective.

Kirk devotes his time helping emerging start-ups, mid-to-large corporations, and professional tax firms with specialized tax credit and incentive consulting and audit defense services to help improve profits and reduce risk. Kirk has managed various types of tax credit incentive studies, most notably the R&D tax credit, and consulted for hundreds of companies throughout the United States. Kirk has worked with engineers & scientists, business owners, and tax professionals in virtually every industry. Kirk also diligently represents individuals, shareholders, and business taxpayers in IRS and state taxing authority audits to help ensure his clients receive successful resolutions and avoid further costly litigation.

Kirk received his law degree from Gonzaga University School of Law. While earning his law degree, he served as a law clerk representing low-income taxpayers concerning IRS tax controversy and business formation issues. Kirk was also involved in Gonzaga’s Society for Law and Business and helped lead three different business law continuing legal educations (CLE), spotlighting the Dodd-Frank Act, the Jobs Act, and Securities Regulations. During his last year in law school, he was awarded the title of President for the Society for Law and Business. Prior to attending Gonzaga law, he obtained his undergraduate degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in accounting, from Cal Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo.

Kirk is also a licensed certified public accountant (CPA) in both California and Washington State.

Kirk grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area (near Silicon Valley), and is an avid sports fan. When not in the office, he can be found running throughout the Puget Sound region, camouflaging his 49er gear during Seahawks games, or quietly relaxing at home.
